The GOP Defines Itself?
The GOP party leadership stands behind Tom “The Bomb” Tancredo, despite his recent remarks on bombing Mecca and fierce anti-immigration stand. At least that is the word from party leader Ken Mehlman, who is making a pilgrimage of sorts to James Dobson’s organization in Colorado Springs.
The White House has quietly distanced itself from Tancredo’s remarks perhaps as part of its energy policy.
