That radio ad is great. We should be running similar ads in Oregon east of the Cascades.

Having spent some time in CA, I get nervous when people start discussing Property Tax controls.
Either we agree that a) the government's projected expenses are worthy and we need income to cover them even if that means raising taxes, or b) the government's projects are pork or boondoggles and they should be cut so that we don't need raise the money to pay for them. But we can't agree that the expenses are worth while and we're going to limit the income so that the government runs a deficit.
The discussion of taxes needs to revolve around the expenses they are going to pay for.
