"The job rating is impressive because Freudenthal is a Democrat in a state where registered Republicans outnumber Democrats almost two to one," Walter said, "and because this was a particularly partisan general election where one might have expected party affiliation to play a major role in the evaluation of job performance."The survey showed that registered Republicans are nearly as positive about Freudenthal as registered Democrats.
